Think about Human Right

Think about Human Right PhotoThe year of 2010 has just begun, more and more change and transformation are easily noticeable. Many businesses at any kinds rise and overleap old styles business and management. There is no chance without struggle for survival and this will lead human to think for himself.

The prediction above tends to be a life reality within short time; it is extremely ironic and tragic when a lot of other people need helps and more of others’ hands. Human right is being gambled at this stake, and it seems only few of us who could sincerely think about it.

A figure that is worth being modeled is Alexander von Furstenberg who is recently a designer as well as a businessman. In his designing life, Alex has created hundreds or even thousands and more designs at any kinds; apparels, furniture, images and some other worldly arts. And at work activities, he started his career as a trader in 1993 on Allen & Company’s Risk Arbitrage Desk. He is now the founder, co-managing member and Chief investment officer at private investment company; Arrow Capital Management, LLC. He has currently been a member of the Director board of IAC/Interactive Corp., a U.S. based internet conglomerate, and on the board of W.P. Stewart & Co. Ltd., a Bermuda based asset management firm.

Nevertheless, among his all busy activities both in business and designs, Alex is one of world-wide philanthropists and has contributed a lot for a number of charitable programs that pursuit in community reform, disease research, childcare, education, arts, environmental advocacy and humanities and human rights through Derills Foundation – a Foundation managed by von Furstenberg Family Foundation and in where he acts as Director and Secretary.

Get Back to Work

Get Back to Work PhotoThere is nothing personal; I just wish to help my older brother get back to work. He has been in unemployed status for more than six months, and it is not good for his physiological emotion. I take a pity on him, and I don’t want something terrible might happen to him as happened to my roommate in Lima. She had been out off work for five months and she felt lazy to start another activities. In the end, she could not pay for the room rent and she had to go back home.

The last job my brother handled was a cashier at a supermarket. He had been working there for almost a year until the management closed his contract and replaced him with someone else. There was nothing bad about his working at that place, as well as at other previous workplace he had ever worked at. It was just about some kinds of bad timing for him. I can’t recommend him at my workplace; his degree does not match with the technological matters there. I don’t think he understand much about computerization and advance innovation. And I guess he does not want to do so as well. Hence, I am not staying online searching for any available job vacancies on internet.

I drop by a reliable site about opportunity in career and finding suitable workplaces for people with status like my brother’s. There are plenty sorts of job in any kinds and there is even a notice of numbers of employment needed. I call my brother who is lying down on the couch. He gets up lazily and approaches. I points out on the computer monitor and ask his idea about it. He seems to be interested and asks me more details about it.

I actually don’t know much about the site as well as the job vacancies available in there, but I think it is better for him to find out more details by himself. He says ok and I rise from the chair to get to the kitchen for some coffee while letting my brother to learn more.
